Spring boot microservice (jdk11) threw hystrix.stream-actuator-endpoint exception - java

After spring boot service migration to 2.1.3.RELEASE and jdk11, hystrix stream actuator-related exceptions occur.
The exception is ERROR org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[Tomcat-1].[localhost].[/].[hystrix.stream-actuator-endpoint] - Servlet.service() for servlet [hystrix.stream-actuator-endpoint] in context with path [] threw exception[]
Spring boot version: 2.1.3.RELEASE
Java version: 11
All actuator endpoints are exposed: management.endpoints.web.exposure.include=*
Also, hystrix.stream endpoint is actually enabled and gives a stream.
Nevertheless, exceptions still occur in logs

Running the minimal configuration I'm unable to reproduce the problem, I tried switching version from 2.1.3-RELEASE to 2.2.2-RELEASE too; no problems. So I think you should give more details here. Where is executing your application? Embedded tomcat, external tomcat, docker? Try to give more details please.

We had the same issue. After a research we found out that the issue is similar to described in the feign client bug.
The temporary fix provided by DenisKorolev resolves the issue by setting correct ClassLoader during context initialisation.

ClassNotFoundException while running jar on Amazon Kinesis Streaming Analytics app

I have created a Kinesis Analytics Streaming Application in SpringBoot which will consume messages from the AmazonKinesis input stream and will do some operations on top of it using the Apache Flink DataStream library.
When, I am uploading the application jar to S3 and trying to run this application on Streaming App it is throwing ClassNotFoundException for one of the files which is the ApplicationConfiguration file. Also, when I am running this application locally, it is running fine without any errors and I am able to consume the messages.

Things that I have tried on my end:
Clean build the project a couple of times.
Checked Java and Spring version in pom, as suggested in one of the
StackOverflow post.
Downgraded SpringBoot version from "2.7.0" to "2.4.0".
Added ComponentScan annotation in main class.
Tried changing the annotation from #Configuration to #Component.
Last but not least, tried google and stackoverflow.
Can someone please help me identify the error?
Is this because you're attempting to use dependencies for flink 1.15? AFAIK, 1.13 is the latest version supported. You need to choose which flink version you intend to use when creating the streaming application.

why a project that contain spring data dependency doesn't work on tomcat9?

I am trying to deploy a small springboot app on tomcat9 , the tomcat9 is on ubuntu 20 on my account in digital ocean .
the problem when i am adding the spring data dependency in the pom file :spring-boot-starter-data-jpa and then convert the jar file to war file by using mvn clean package or install command to be able to deploy it on tomcat9 its display an error:

You have defined to use the parent with version 2.6.6. Then you add dependencies for other components
which you like to use for example spring-boot-starter-security. In Spring boot the basic
idea is to use the components which are offered by the spring team. This means you should simply
define a component like the following:

How to use embedded MongoDB with SpringBoot v2.6.2?

I'm using Spring Boot v2.6.2 and Java v17 and trying to test my MongoConnection without having a MongoDBService running because it should be tested with embedded in-memory MongoDB on the build machine, no need to set up an extra MongoDB service there.
For sure on the productive system, it should use a full MongoDB.
I try to get this easy example running:

If I let the SpringBoot application run, not in test mode, everything works fine, because MongoDB is running at the specified location. But for the test, I want to let it run as an in-memory DB.
But Springboot wants to connect for the test.

Any suggestions on how to do this? Is #DataMongoTest testing in the wrong way? I thought the integrated flapdoodle dependency would inject it automatically in the test case.
