Hello ,my app crashes every time I invoke Spinner which exists in a Fragment called "Firstfragment"

If you are calling the spinner initialization from the fragment but it exists in the main activity it will crash, you need to call it in the activity, or move it to the xml of the framgnet.

activity_main belongs to MainActivity. So there is a fragment_first which belongs to FirstFragment. The spinner you are trying to initialize belongs to fragment_first, so you have to use it inside FirstFragment or move it (spinner) to activity_main

Hi bro inside you activity_main.xml you didn't define spinner, so you can't get view which you didn't create in your xml file, you can get it from your fragment, or you must move Spinner to activity_main.xml.

Android - How do I expand the height of a view from bottom to top?

I'm trying to make a visualization of some data in Android using a vertical bar chart, but when I increase or decrease the height of a View programatically by clicking a button, it changes from top to bottom, as in the image below (default value is 300).
How do I change the height from bottom to top, ie keeping the base of the view fixed?

Custom Dialog is not opening on click in fragment?

I build my own custom Dialogbut its not opening when i am clicking on ImageView. I also checked by putting break point Dialog is coming null how to rectify it. I want to shift TextView of id unread_count to the right of parent . How can I do this ?

You forgot to call show method on the custom dialog. Change your code to

Shared element transition not working with second activity

Hi i am developing an app where i'm using shared element transition on textview however when i apply animation nothing happens and moreover text in other activity becomes invisible which is quite wierd i have given same transition name to both activities still i dont understand what the problem is please if someone can help me out here.

ViewHolder not show a button in method onSwiped()

I have a big issues about onSwiped method and set a button's visibility to VISIBLE. Here my code Java Class :

My problem is that when the method onSwiped was called, and after I setup the VISIBILITY of the button by Java code, the main card doesn't show the button .
