i dont have valid account for payment since i am from nepal. is that compulsory to create "Credentials" in order to use google direction api? help me
yes it is compulsory to create credentials because using this you will set where and how you can use your google api key. And connection of payment account will also be necessary for this.
If you are not able to use Google Maps in your app, try Mapbox, everything is free and is also has its own directions api.

I have Google app engine Java app. I have created a service account to access Google API.
My Java app is designed to update the Google calendar.
So I tried to share the calendar to service account email id. I am not able to choose the option 'Make changes to events' for the service account id. It defaults to 'See all event details'. Due to this, I am not able to make changes to calendar using my Java app.
I am the admin for the the google domain account that owns the calendar and the app engine. Please let me know the how to fix this.
The reason is most likely that your domain only allows at maximum read-only acls to users outside your domain. I suggest you take a look at the delegation of domain authority to service accounts, it might be what you are looking for: https://developers.google.com/drive/web/delegation

Is there any way fetch the mails from the inbuilt Email app that comes with the android device itself? Please note that I am not referring to the Gmail app. ??? If yes then please give a hint about it.
As per my research till now m not able to find any way to do this.
Thanks in advance....
This would only be possible for applications that expose this data via some form of API. The Email application that is part of the Android open source project has no documented or supported API of this type.
I'm trying to write a program in processing that can get a location from the user who is using Twitter. In every twitter profile there is information where they live like "New York, NY". I figuered out that I will need to use Twitter4J to do this, but what im really asking, is it possible to get a users location from their profile? or is it limited to only induvidual tweets?
I don't expect a full code as an answer but if somebody can point me in the right direction it would be great!
I can suggest also using
https://github.com/fernandezpablo85/scribe-java
for OAuth integration (very easy to integrate and extend) and then load user profile.
twitter user profile contains all details, including user's location, see example below
...
"location":"Oslo, Norway"
,"geo_enabled":true
...
see twitter api -> https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1/get/users/show
I am developing an Android App where I require a user to authenticate his session before using the app. One way is to store a user name and password by asking him to register on the app and then use that to authenticate him. But i was looking to do something else, maybe use an OpenId account to authenticate or Opensoial or something like Facebook Connect. Any Suggestions and comments? thanks for you help.
Using OpenID is a great idea in fact. You can use the OpenID4Java library. As you can read here, someone has modified that project in order to make it Android compatible.
I know this is an old question but i found this while asking a newer question.
Just an idea but have you looked at the account manager? What version of android are you targeting?
The sample sync adapter example (http://developer.android.com/resources/samples/SampleSyncAdapter/index.html) uses the account manager (http://developer.android.com/reference/android/accounts/AccountManager.html)
It looks like a more secure way of using credentials on a native android client because you don't have to store the password at all locally in your app.
