Cucumber 4 Junit parallel execution - java

Cucumber 4 now supports parallel execution out of the box using maven surefire plugin. I am using cucumber 4-Junit-RestAssured and spring for DI. However, I am still now able to see multiple threads. I followed same configuration as mentioned in https://grasshopper.tech/464/

When I run the test I get the below error:

I have attached my dependency tree pic and also attached the gherkin/parserexception class in my libraries

I managed to come over the problem. I have changed the cucumber versin to 7 and allurecucumberjvm version to 7 as well and luckily dont get the error any more. Though I get a stepdef error message as below which i will try to solve.

Mocking liquibase when testing a RestController: Spring + JPA + Junit Jupiter + liquibase

I'm having trouble integrating a bunch of technologies together. I've got a project that uses junit jupiter and I need to test one of my #RestController's. The issue I'm having is that liquibase keeps trying to connect to the database (which I want to mock so that no connection to anything is attempted). I also need to make it so that the #Repository is mocked (mockito is working well so far). I also need to be able to get all the tests to run with mvn test. I tried just turning liquibase off (spring.liquibase.enabled=false) however now it fails to create JDBCEnvironment service.

Maven does not run #ParameterizedTest in JUnit5

I wrote the following test in a Maven project which is annotated with #ParameterizedTest

Springboot to Springboot 2, How to select WebApplicationInitializer

I've got a web app I recently upgraded from springboot to springboot 2. When I deploy it to Tomcat 8 it seems to start but doesn't start fully.
In localhost.2019-09-04.log (Tomcat) I have the following error:
2 Spring WebApplicationInitializers detected on classpath
From this post someone helped me identify that the two web initialises are:
org.springframework.boot.autoconfigure.jersey.JerseyAutoConfiguration$JerseyWebApplicationInitializer
uk.org.wlma.drs.DrsServletInitializer (mine)
But I can't see how to either exclude JerseyAutoConfiguration, as it belongs to the parent springboot dependency or how to get Tomcat8 to select my initializer instead.

Unable to generate the extent-report

Using the plugin com.vimalselvam.cucumber.listener.ExtentCucumberFormatter (the only that worked for me), my report is generated but with several errors on the log of intellij
I've tried to generate the report with a scenario not defined (just for the speed). Using more than one plugin, as the plugin

You are using vimal, avenstack and adapter dependencies all together in pom.xml which is not advisable and expected. One shall use vimal or avenstack or both together in specific use case or use adapter dependency only. Please follow below instructions.

The above setup will generate the report in output directory with the name of report.html.
Please remove adapter dependency from pom.xml. We shall use vimal/avenstack or extent adapter but not all together.
