SerenityBDD parallel test execution is not working

I am unable to run serenityBDD tests in parallel.
Project is with 3 modules with standard steps(test/java/steps) and feature files(test/java/resources/feature_files) locations for api and ui modules. Everything works fine but with given pom file I am expecting tests to run parallel at feature files level but tests are being executed serially. I have referred this blog any help please?

Looks like you are indirectly running Serenity through the junit-vintage-engine. When executed this way, parallel execution is simply not supported.
To be exact you are running your tests through Surefire -> JUnit 5 -> JUnit Vintage -> JUnit 4 -> Serenity -> Cucumber.
You'd have to wait for JUnit Vintage to support parallel execution or get rid of JUnit 5 from your depencies so Surefire can run JUnit 4 directly.
However given that you are also using Spring you may not be able to get rid of JUnit 5.
You could ask Serenity to support JUnit 5 but I suspect they will be unable too. They have never bothered to contribute the extension points they'd need upstream. Instead they have hacked their stuff into Cucumber.

JAVA Web-services

I have a java web-service which i try to create the jar file by using eclipse. I create the jar file by inserting goal=package but the created jar file cannot star by using batch file. By the way, the project runs locally in eclipse and connects to the database. Does anyone know what I am missing while creating the jar file.

To create an executable jar file you need to add a <mainClass> element to the maven-jar-plugin manifest configuration. Your pom.xml already contains such a configuration, but it is placed within a profile called production. As such, it is ignored unless you activate the production profile:
mvn package -Pproduction
After this you should be able to start your jar file as follows:
java -jar target/SectraXDSIIntegration-2.1.8.jar

Lombok + QueryDsl + Mapstruct: error compiling: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/persistence/Entity: javax.persistence.Entity

Here is the error during maven compile

I deleted all entity classes and compile was ok.
Is it a bug in annotation processor?
I tried different combinations for annotation processors order.

QueryDsl does not declare a dependency to the JPA API. Maybe this is a bug. To fix this issue add the dependency manually as a path element to the annotationProcessorPaths. The annotation processor dependencies and the Maven dependencies are distinct, hence adding it as a dependency or plugin dependency does not work.
The example is processing it in a separate phase. You can also include it in the default Maven compiler plugin configuration.

I am new to Maven and have been trying to create an uber jar for my application. I have been able to include the application.css mentioned in the include transformer (only when the resources tag is 'not' used) however I have a few resources scattered across the project with paths as below:
/src/main/resources/ui/
/src/main/java/com/xyz/internal/installer
I have tried to include them as resources in the code, however the images inside
/src/main/resources/ui/ are included but the otherlocation are not. Also when i do not use resources tag the 'application.css' is included in the jar, otherwise it is not.

Your pom.xml looks incorrect. You have resource filtering mixed with maven shade plugin configuration.

Few points,
I have used ${project.basedir} instead of testproject/src/... this is a best practice and you should not hard code your project name. Similarly use ${project.build.directory} for target directory. See this.
If you want to copy your resources specified in resource filter to a specific location, you have to use copy resource plugin.
include empty directory is one of the configuration of copy resource plugin

How to force the dependency to include an artifact with a specific version number

I get this error when trying to build GWT project with maven:
Your project declares dependency on gwt-user 2.6.0. This plugin is
designed for at least gwt version 2.7.0
As I found out gwt-user 2.6.0 is downloaded with com.google.gwt.eventbinder.
How I can force com.google.gwt.eventbinder using gwt-user 2.7.0 instead 2.6.0?
The strange thing is that the build worked before I did 'git pull'.

Solution 1
The problem is eventbinder has dependency on gwt-user artifact. it uses 2.6.0 by default you can see it by using this command.
mvn dependency:tree
If you add this dependency block to your pom;
<dependency>
<groupId>com.google.gwt</groupId>
<artifactId>gwt-user</artifactId>
<version>2.7.0</version>
</dependency>
It will look like this...
This means your project will have gwt-user 2.7.0 all the time, i haven't tested if everything is ok with version compatibility or something your problem will be solved..
Solution 2
Thanks for the #Thomas Broyer's comment we can force eventbinder to use 2.7.0 gwt-user or any gwt dependency. if we just add this dependency management to our pom
