Lately I have been working on a personal project of mine and I decided to use JavaFX . The IDE I'm using is IntelliJ IDEA and I am having headaches to actually make a Jar out of this . I have tried lots of tutorials and nothing seems to work . I would be very grateful if anyone could give me some hints on what's wrong .
Firstly I tried to include all the dependencies on the Project Structure tab and built the artifacts
needed .
https://i.stack.imgur.com/zk2js.png
The resulting Jar file does not work, when I try to run it I get the following error :
Error: JavaFX runtime components are missing, and are required to run this application
Even though the Jar was pretty useless I found a way to make it "work" , I ran the following command on cmd
java --module-path "%Path to JavaFX SDK%" --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.fxml -jar %Path to Jar%
So I decided to search what could be missing and tried several solutions but non work , one of them was trying to create a dummy class that did not extend Application as a main class , but this lead to disaster since I got this result :
Graphics Device initialization failed for : d3d, sw

I even tried to do this all by hand since I was suspicious IntelliJ was omitting steps , needless to say it also didn't end well . I will also leave some prints with the project structure in the hope of helping to understand what's wrong.

They're doing well in xorg environment(not with embedded sdk).
Is DRM only supports Raspberry Pi? Or am I losing some necessary dependencies?Be deeply grateful for your help!
I am trying to use Eclipse to run a COMSOL model and I have read the guide from programming reference manual. However, Eclipse always report the error as follows,
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/bind/DatatypeConverter at com.comsol.client.interfaces.b.(SourceFile:60) at com.comsol.client.interfaces.b.(SourceFile:39) at com.comsol.clientapi.engine.APIEngine$c.b(SourceFile:497) at com.comsol.clientapi.engine.APIEngine.a(SourceFile:115) at com.comsol.clientapi.engine.APIEngine.connect(SourceFile:98) at com.comsol.clientapi.engine.APIEngine.connect(SourceFile:87) at com.comsol.clientapi.engine.ClientModelUtil.connect(SourceFile:145) at com.comsol.clientapi.engine.ClientModelUtil.connect(SourceFile:133) at com.comsol.model.util.ModelUtil.connect(SourceFile:248) at PFCZM_3PBending_QuasiBrittle.main(PFCZM_3PBending_QuasiBrittle.java:16750) Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.xml.bind.DatatypeConverter at java.base/jdk.internal.loader.BuiltinClassLoader.loadClass(BuiltinClassLoader.java:636) at java.base/jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoaders.java:182) at java.base/java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:519) ... 10 more
I believe I have imported the JAR files correctly and set the path for the project and it seems that the error is due to lack of source file for COMSOL API JAR files. I have checked those JAR file and found they are indeed all class files without definition. How can I solve this problem? Thanks!

I have tried to downgrade from JAVA JDK 1.8 to 1.7 but still not resolving the problem.
This is a JavaScript project, the test are passing but build failed because of that error.
Could you help me?
We fixed it by reducing jenkins stdout/stderr output. Just redirect called commands' output to files and try again.
It is just a workaround until Jenkins team fix it but it works pretty well for us.

This project was running before, but I needed to reinstall Glassfish because of problems and now it's broken.
I tried to create a new project but I got the same error messages.
Do you have an idea of what could explain such a behavior ?
Thanx
Thanx to #Gimby who made me verified my EclipseLink version, I had to go into the project properties.
After a look in the BuildPath parameters, I tried to look at the "targeted runtime" I've chosen and found that none was selected.
Since I've checked it, everything goes better.

Where is the problem??
Thank you very much!
Matteo
Since you're running embedded Neo4j this looks like you're missing lucene-core-3.6.2.jar on your classpath.
Best practice is to use a build system supporting transitive dependencies like gradle or maven. For those the most easy this is have a dependency on neo4j-community artifact, e.g. http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.neo4j/neo4j/2.2.5. This will pull in all other required jars.
