I have newly created a spring boot project and added spring cloud and azure active directory and lots of dependency, now while I am trying to run my application I am getting below error.

I have a problem trying to upgrade a spring project from 4.3.2 to the latest ones.
The project uses: 4.1.1.Release security and 4.3.2 Spring framework.
I am trying to upgrade them to 5.3.13Release and 5.2.19.Release for spring only.

First, you cannot upgrade Spring for Spring Boot as that is tied to a specific Spring major version. To upgrade Spring you would need to upgrade to a newer Spring Boot version.
Secondly, your dependencies are a mess. A lot of exclusions that aren't needed and additional dependencies that aren't needed either.

This is for the Spring (Boot) dependencies. Remove the spring.version and spring-security.version unless you really want to override it (which can be done within the same major version!) but you are probably better of using a new Spring Boot version (update the version of the parent).
There are probably a lot more dependencies (the spring-boot-starter-data-jpa already pulls in hibernate, so you can probably remove that explicit one as well).

Moving project from Eclipse into Intellij and now I am getting errors

So I just started learning spring-boot to make an API and for some reason, I am getting these specific errors whenever I try to run the program even though I did not have those issues in Eclipse.

Cannot find ImmutableSettingsBuilder with ES 2.1

I am trying to build a elastic search application with ES 2.1.0 server and 2.1.1 Java API client. Below is my pom dependency tree. I am trying to create a transport client using xml configuration. But even before it launches a client i see that it cannot find ImmutableSettingsBuilder class.

Swagger-api with dropwizard.io 0.9.1

I try to configure swagger with dropwizard framework 0.9.1.
In my pom.xml :

but a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
jersey/repackaged/com/google/common/collect/ImmutableMap is thrown.
What is wrong?
The solution is to set the right exclusions in the dependency section:
