I am trying to get the dependency thymeleaf-extras-springsecurity5 and it is red and cannot be found with an error
Could not find artifact org.thymeleaf.extras:thymeleaf-extras-springsecurity:pom:unknown in central (https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2)
What I do wrong? I use IntelliJ IDEA 2022.3 (Community Edition).

I solved it by,
In intellij, File -> Project Structure -> Project Settings -> Libraries
Select all libraries and delete it
Then "Maven - Reload All Maven Projects"

Changing Spring Version in pom.xml

I'm working on a Spring Boot project. Initially, I started with Spring 3.0.0, but the project specification requires the use of version 2.x instead.
I tried to manually change this in line 8 of pom.xml but am now getting an error. How do I correct this?

I have generated a brand new springboot project using SpringInitializr in my IntellijIDEA (v.2022.2.1). As a result I got pom.xml like this:

The problem is when I try to create an instance of JedisConnectionFactory(like JedisConnectionFactory factory = new JedisConnectionFactory();) it throws an exception java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: redis/clients/jedis/JedisClientConfig. The project does not have any code nor configuration...except for the default that was generated by Initialzr. What could be the reason for the class not to be in the classpath?

It turned to be trivial - I just had to add jedis dependency explicitly in pom.xml

Invalid target release: 12 when pushing the heroku repo

I have an error whenever I git push heroku master and this is the error

You need to create a file called system.properties in the root of your project, and therein have the following line:
java.runtime.version=12
However, Heroku does not support runtime version 12, only the odd numbers (so 11, 13, 15 as of this writing). See https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/java-support#supported-java-versions
Be sure both your pom.xml and system.properties are targeting the same version, or headaches will ensue.

But if I check in the maven repository it is downloaded
Also the jar is present in Java Build Path
