Spigot/Bungeecord Hibernate - Invalid logger interface org.hibernate.internal.CoreMessageLogger

I tried using Hibernate ORM to handle my BungeeCord database mappings. I've used it before and had no problems doing so.
Now I revisited Minecraft programming and could not get Hibernate running.

A quick google search didn't really help. I found a comment saying I have to initialize the logger with Hibernate.initalize(object). I could not get that to work either.

I don't know how class loading works in this "environment", but the hibernate-core.jar should contain a class called org.hibernate.internal.CoreMessageLogger_$logger, which is the logger implementation that apparently can't be found. Maybe the class loader is broken?

Your maven shade plugin contains the following:

</configuration>
This causes all the logging dependencies to be dropped while shading. Removing this line will fix the issue.

Error when using the logs in Quarkus with logger jboss

What could be happening, I don't understand

You are not injecting the logger. You can change the code to:

By the way, Quarkus offers an additional way to get the logger without injection:

Constructor injection tends to ease testability (because you can create instances of your objects passing spies or mocks). It also makes sure you do not write to the managed fields (as the fields are final).

You probably copied and pasted code from an official GAE sample.
You should check the concerned full project code on Github. The StorageSample and its uploadFile method provide similar code.
The concerned StorageFactory class is not found by the Maven compiler (and by any other compiler/IDE) because it is not part of GAE dependencies, it is a custom class provided as part of the sample project: StorageFactory.
Hence, to make the code compile, you should copy it into your sample project.
Note: you may encounter further compilation errors, better would be to check out (or clone) the full sample project and have a local working copy to start with.

Problems testing services created with maven-scr-plugin when using pax-exam

I've set up a very simple "HelloWorld" service to demonstrate my problem. It uses the maven-scr-plugin to generate a service descriptor and has a pax-exam unit test. But when I try to run 'mvn clean test' it blocks for a while before giving me this error:
org.ops4j.pax.swissbox.tracker.ServiceLookupException: gave up waiting for service com.liveops.examples.osgi.helloworld.HelloWorldService
If I run 'mvn -DskipTests=true package' and then run 'mvn test' (without clean)
it works. The difference seems to be the addition of this line in my META-INF/M
ANIFEST.MF file:
Service-Component: OSGI-INF/com.liveops.examples.osgi.helloworld.internal.HelloImpl.xml
Does anyone know if there is a way to make sure this line is added earlier in the build process so that 'mvn clean test' will pass? Or is there something else I might be doing wrong?

The Maven SCR Plugin only generates the service component descriptors but it does not include them in the manifest automatically.
So there's nothing inelegant about including a <Service-Component> instruction in the Maven Bundle Plugin configuration, that's just the documented usage.
Since the manifest header is missing, SCR does not register any services on behalf of your bundle, and that's why Pax Exam can't find the required service.

HtmlUnitDriver seems to be missing HTTP Components?

To get started with Selenium2 and the HtmlUnitDriver I created a test project. As long as I'm using the FirefoxDriver, everything is working perfectly. EDIT: fixed missing dependency!

Try moving this block:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.seleniumhq.selenium</groupId>
<artifactId>selenium-htmlunit-driver</artifactId>
<version>${selenium.version}</version>
</dependency>
from the <dependencyManagement> section into the <dependencies> section of the POM (which is where you have the FireFox driver included).

I got same error and here is how I solved - This error will come if your httpclient.jar, httpcore, httpmime jar files versions are not matching the parent 3rd party classes. I had httpclient-4.0.3.jar versions. Downloaded and added httpclient-4.2.jar to lib of my NetBeans. Similarly added httpcore-4.2.jar and httpmime-4.2.jar. The class executed!!
